Social Magnet, the digital arm of the Delineo advertising agency, is now accepting applications for a work placement programme in its social media team.

So, what do you need to bring to the table?

Obviously, you’ll need to have a solid knowledge of social media: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube. You don’t need to be a self-proclaimed Twitter guru, but a clear understanding of the digital spaces and sites is crucial.

An understanding of how to use these realms for online marketing would also go a long way too.

In return, you’ll get the opportunity to work first-hand on a variety of social media campaigns; you’ll dabble in Facebook advertising, engage in Twitter conversations and take a swing at a variety of blogs. All your travel expenses will be paid and you’ll get the opportunity to work in one of longest-standing advertising agencies in Manchester. Plus, there’s coffee. Really good coffee.

The role is perfectly suited for someone still in university (or a recent graduate), who’s keen to learn more about digital marketing and the wonderful world of social media.
