Google will require new data for Product Search

Google has announced an update to the Product Search listings that will require three new data requirements for feeds. The first two apply to the USA, UK, France and Germany. The last two are for USA only.

1. Unique Product Identifiers, required for all products except clothing and one of a kind items. This will be in place from May 3rd.

2. Shipping information, required after June 6th

3. Tax Information, required from the 6th June.

4. New Sales Price Attributes, recommended for use on items on sale.
