What is inbound marketing?
Once upon a time, a business could only really reach customers by pushing out its sales message. To do this, the business would be forced to resort to expensive and interruptive means of getting themselves in front of their target, such as email shots to purchased lists, cold calling, advertising, telemarketing and trade shows. These techniques encapsulate outbound marketing. Essentially, the bigger your budget, the more people you can interrupt, the greater the success of your campaign.
The internet has radically changed all this. Businesses still pursue outbound marketing strategies, but given that the average human is subjected to around 2000 outbound marketing interruptions every day, the potency and effectiveness of those strategies is considerably diminished. Description of Services

INBOUND MARKETING SET-UP

Our Inbound Marketing Set-up is included in each of our pricing plans, and include the following:

  • Initial Get-to-Know Meeting: We like to begin each project by meeting you in person (or a phone conversation if more appropriate) and following up with some initial research that has been informed by that meeting. This allows us to get up to speed on your business and carve out some preliminary thoughts on your sector and competition.
  • Buyer Persona Identification: Virtually before we do anything else, we need to build up a clear picture of exactly who you’re looking to target, what their problems and needs are and what interests them. By the end we should have a clear picture of the archetypal person you want your marketing to reach.
  • Competitive Analysis: We use a range of in-house research tools to gain a full understanding of your direct competitors: what keywords they’re targeting, how they’re ranking for those keywords, whether they’re using Pay-Per-Click advertising, and what key site statistics are affecting their online performance.
  • Keyword Research and Analysis: We create a giant list of your target keywords which we then trim according to their competitiveness. If you have an analytics programme installed, we’ll then compare against the reality of visitor behaviour on your current site.
  • Lead Generation Analysis: How hard is your site working? Do we need to consider a complete redesign or can the existing design be improved? We’ll consider these questions and suggest ways to improve your lead conversion.
  • Tracking Analysis: We ensure that all tracking and measurement tools are in place and fully aligned with the goals we establish for your online strategy.
  • Content Strategy: We develop a strategy for executing the content plan you choose, establishing internal responsibility, editorial processes and frequency.

BLOG POSTS

Blogging is a highly effective way of both demonstrating your expertise and producing regular optimised content that can be easily found by your potential customers. Maintaining a blog is undoubtedly the hard bit, which is why we’ll manage the process for you. We’ll pitch topics, source information when required, write and optimise the post, and publish it on your blog. If you don’t yet have a blog, we can design and build a custom Wordpress blog and integrate it into your existing website.

LINK-BUILDING ARTICLES

Generating inbound links is a crucial aspect of search engine optimisation. We’ll create articles that meet the needs of your potential customers that include links back to key landing pages on your website. We’ll then distribute these articles to numerous article submission sites, social networks and social bookmarketing sites.

SOCIAL MEDIA PRESS RELEASES

All our press releases are now built using specialist social media press release services. Instead of clogging up journalists’ inboxes, your releases can be optimised for the search engines and can exist online forever. We will write and build the release, incorporating images, video and other media where possible. We’ll then distribute your release to free and (budget allowing) paid-for distribution sites on the web, such as PRWeb, Google News, Yahoo News, Marketwire and Response Source.

DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT

Creating quality content that is easily downloadable from your site is a great way of attracting your potential customers. Our in-house design has wide experience of creating superb-looking content for customers ranging from the Coop Pharmacy to Bell Micro. Choose from a white paper (7-8 pages), mini eBook (9-10 pages), case study (4-5 pages) or Powerpoint presentation (up to 20 slides) – we’ll write the content, design the layout and distribute it online. Original photography and custom graphics may involve an additional cost.

VIDEO

Video is a fantastic way of creating an immediate and trusted relationship with a website visitor. We’ll script, film and edit a video of up to one minute in length.

MONTHLY ANALYTICS REPORT

Every month we’ll give you a sizeable spreadsheet that contains every metric of value to your overall strategy, including rankings, links, goal conversions and many other key statistics to be drawn from Google Analytics.
